Annada Marie Vergo

Annada decided to reveal her secret crawling talent. Up to now, the only times Marc and I had seen her crawl was when we walked in on her or watched from a crack in the door. As soon as she saw us, she would stop crawling. It was quite the mystery to both of us.

Today, she crawled across the living in front of both of us. And since then she has been on the move.

That is, unless I get to close. Then she stops crawling again. I think I figured why trying to video tape her crawling. She had just crawled across the floor (to find food scraps under her high chair, but that is another story…).

So I picked her up hoping to video tape her. As soon as I got close she sat up and laughed happily when I picked her up. But when I sat her down she thrust her feet down and started walking. When I sat her down to crawl, she started crying sadly like I had dashed her dreams!

So I think she wasn’t crawling around Marc and I because she prefers walking. If we wouldn’t pick her up, she would grab our pant legs and walk along.
