Happy Valentines day!
Annada woke up early this morning yelling, “It’s February 14!!!!!!”
Marc gave me the best Valentine ever by letting me go back to bed. While I slept, Annada and Daddy worked on a special breakfast – egg scramble, potatoes and a new salad. Marc is becoming quite the cook.
Annada helped set the table with paper plates. In our family we break out the paper plates for special occasions. They are colorful so to Annada they are far more fun. And we enjoy the clean-up.
After breakfast Annada opened her Valentines’s Day gifts from Meme and Pepe and us. We gave her a Tiana dress.
Then Judah and Ms. Rose arrived. Annada ran out of the house to meet Judah with the valentine bag she made him. She LOVES giving gifts.
After work I came home to find Judah and Annada running around in their undies. Apparently they have been stripping a lot lately. They literally run up and down the hallway chasing each other. If one stops, the other one hugs them. I think they may be running so much they get hot!
Annada put the Tiana dress back on and we headed to the intern’s house for dinner. The men made us sushi and the women made dessert. Annada carefully passed out valentines to everyone. Then we had a “cheesiest valentine” competition.
Annada won in the “10 and under” category. She seemed to be pretty happy about that, even when she realized she was the only kid there.
My favorite moment? Opening a valentine’s day card from Annada. She had told Marc to write, “I love you more than pinkalicious cupcakes” for me!

Annada did! She loves it. We got it a couple of days after Valentine’s Day. I tried to get a picture, but Annada ran into her special room and shut the door so she could play with it alone. She has been keeping the doll in her special room and cooking her meals.
