I’m 6-months-old!
They snuck off for a date on my birthday! Can you believe it?! They did bring me back a cupcake :). (Don’t get any ideas Pepe – even on my birthday I get dessert via mom.)

It’s my birthday week… I get presents!
I’m 6 months old on Saturday! Since I’m growing so well (meaning: fast), I got a new carseat. Meme sent me a box full of cute clothes and books (thanks Meme and Great-Grandma). I got a balloon. I got a bannana in a munkin feeder at dinner tonight. AND I get to eat rice ceral on Saturday! :).

Annada’s 4 month check up
We love Dr. Nielson. (Although I think Annada is starting to catch on to the shot connection...)
Annada is super healthy :). She weighs 14 lbs, 13 oz. and she is 24.75 inches tall. PTL!

Annada’s first 5K
Over 11,000 people turned out to see Annada’s first race. She won the cutest baby category; Marc won the Most Smiles award. “Pain makes me smile,” he said. (Really. Other spectators even commented on his persistent smile through the race.) Marc finished with a great time despite running with a cold.
Annada and Mom enjoyed the race so much we tried to make it last as long as possible. At least that’s what the MC said as the police (marking the end of the race) escorted us across the finish line. Annada decided to carbo load as the race was beginning, so we were a little late getting started.

Marc did an awesome job performing at the Easter egg hunt (and so sick too)! Annada and I were cheering him on.

Oh no, baby…
I'm reading Annada a book called "No No, Yes Yes." One side says, "No No" with a picture of a baby doing something wrong. The other side says, "Yes Yes" with a picture of a baby doing something good. This is a picture of Annada's typical reaction as a I read, "No no, baby. No dumping food on your head."

She’s a heartbreaker!
Annada fell asleep while Dad was walking around with her. So we just left her in the Snguli :-). (Hey, a nap is a nap.)

Newborn no more: Annada is offically an infant.
Annada is 3 months old! She is 24.5 inches tall (75% percentile). Yesterday I had to retire all of her 3 month clothes; she’s now a 3-6 month size. Her new talent is making raspberries with her lips (holding them together and blowing to make noise). This morning she laid on her kick mat, made raspberries and laughed at the noise!
Along with her birthday milestone, she is now in the second slot for her car seat, facing outward in the snugli and has learned how to throw her toys. Everyday it seems like she does something new.
